Hochiki Hybrid Wireless Expander Module

The EK-WL8-EXP Expander Module increases the coverage area of ​​an Echo Translator Module, enabling the system to be used in larger buildings and challenging cabling environments.

When two or more Expander Modules are used, these modules maintain the integrity of the wireless system by providing a MESH network. The system allows configuration of up to 126 Expander Modules or field devices up to one Translator Module*.

Any combination of Echo wireless devices can be connected to the ExpanderModule*.

The Expander Module is equipped with two internal antennas that reduce signal attenuation and ensure reliable radio communication.
